Located in the tropics, Cairns is know for it’s hot sun in spring and autumn, and humid and wet summers. Prone to tropical downpours, Cairns Airport wanted a fully covered but aesthetically pleasing carpark shade and weather protection system.

The Full Cover carpark provide superior sun and weather protection for passengers. The Cairns Airport parking covered area has been created using two full-length barrel-vault canopies running the entire length of the carpark.  Further shade and weather protection has been provided for passengers via linking covered walkways leading all the way to the terminal entrance.
