Manheim Auctions Brisbane TensoNet

The Manheim Auctions Brisbane TensoNet Hail Net Protection Canopy (HNPC) is a 21,000 sqm Quad Net protection canopy located at the company’s Brisbane vehicle storage yard.

The project involved designing and constructing two separate sections of TensoNet canopy.

Area 1 (19,000 sqm) is designed to protect the long-terms vehicle storage lots in the event of hail, the TensoNet Structure has a clearance of 5m underneath and closed sides towards the prevailing wind direction to prevent storm-driven hail.

Area 2 (2000sqm) is designed to protect a smaller short-term vehicle area.  Designed like a tent, the central columns are 5m high, while the side colums are 3m high. The angled sides help to add tension into the structure.
