MakMax Australia is looking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to be a part of our Projects team, for the largest tensile membrane project in Australia - Perth Stadium.

As the Contracts Administrator you will be accountable for providing assistance with delivery of the commercial, financial and contractual management aspects of our construction projects in Western Australia.

This role is being offered as a project based contract (in line with the completion of Perth Stadium) with a range of opportunities into the future for the right candidate.

This position will be site based.


Work closely with Project Manager/Senior Engineer on all matters relating to the management of project head contract and associated sub-contracts

Establish and maintain thorough records of correspondence related to the project and in accordance with contract

Prepare and manage variation claims arising under the contract

Monitor financial progress preparing monthly reports and variation claims

Procurement - liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors & suppliers, management of external packages


Contract management experience gained with construction or engineering projects.

Familiarity with standard and custom industry forms of contract and their negotiation and operative effects.

Demonstrated experience with Aconex and Microsoft Project

Understand contract terms and conditions; variations approvals and recovery of claims executed in accordance within requirements of contract

Awareness of the commercial and legal issues impacting upon the delivery of projects.

Awareness of project management, contract management, risk management and financial management principles utilised in the management of the project.

Demonstrated ability to deliver outputs in a challenging environment and tight timeframes.

Ability to assess information and prepare accurate reports
