Introducing Tensotherm, Insulated fabric roofing filled with new possibilities.

Filled with intelligence
New fabric Tensotherm™ (patent pending) provides your building with a lightweight, beautifully translucent tensile fabric roof, along with impressive thermal and acoustic benefits. What's Tensotherm? It's an innovative thin insulated composite roofing material created from proven PTFE tensile membrane fabric, with the most efficient insulation material 'pound for pound' ever engineered - Nanogel® translucent aerogel.

Filled with Benefits
At a mere 9mm thickness, Tensotherm™ creates an impressive barrier to solar heat in hot weather and efficiently retains heat in cooler conditions. Plus, like standard PTFE, Tensotherm™ provides unlimited design possibilities. Its translucency allows unimpeded harvesting of natural daylight and dramatic night lighting. And it creates both a structural roof and indoor ceiling in one remarkably thin and light material.

Filled with Principles of Sustainable Design
Throughout its long service life, Tensotherm™ enhances a buildings' thermal efficiency, provides natural daylight to occupants and reduces electrical lighting requirements. Lightweight Tensotherm™ requires far less structural support. Best of all, at the end of its service life, Tensotherm can be fully recycled an even up-cycled into products of higher value. Nanogel® aerogel, created by Cabot Corporation™, is the world's most effective thermal insulation and the world's lightest solid material. Most importantly, Nanoge® is highly translucent just like PTFE glass fibre.
