MakMax Australia has begun the installation of the tensile membrane for Carrara Stadium. The 39 panel PTFE glass fibre fabric structure began to take shape on August 25th, with the installation programme on track for completion.
Carrara Stadium boasts 16,600 square metres of PTFE providing cover for the East, West and Southern perimeter of the structure. The facility is being built to accommodate an AFL oval, ICC-compliant cricket oval, provision to allow future installation of IAAF Athletics field and FIFA World Cup soccer field including all the associated corporate, media and player facilities.
